Main Duties
Establish relationships and secure contracts with customers and maintain existing business to meet or exceed sales targets.
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
Prospect for potential customers/opportunities using various direct methods and utilizing social media platforms.
Constantly increase market expertise, functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company.
Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with potential and existing customers, manage the existing business within the allocated portfolio.
Develop along with Product Management, Centre of Excellence, Procurement and
Operations profound logistics solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of proven experience selling Freight Forwarding / Logistics services.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong hunting drive and motivation.
Ability to drive customized solutions and lead teams having no formal authority.
Conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS
Office applications and CRM systems.
Excellent Business English (verbal and written), next to the fluent German language.
