Main Duties

  • Establish relationships and secure contracts with customers and maintain existing business to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
  • Prospect for potential customers/opportunities using various direct methods and utilizing social media platforms.
  • Constantly increase market expertise, functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company.
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with potential and existing customers, manage the existing business within the allocated portfolio.
  • Develop along with Product Management, Centre of Excellence, Procurement and
  • Operations profound logistics solutions to meet customers’ requirements.

Required Skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of proven experience selling Freight Forwarding / Logistics services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong hunting drive and motivation.
  • Ability to drive customized solutions and lead teams having no formal authority.
  • Conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS
  • Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Excellent Business English (verbal and written), next to the fluent German language.
