Search and evaluate potential subcontractors for transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, certification and other logistics services along with vendors for indirect procurement.
Implement purchasing and contract administration procedures, maintain an efficient regional file system and vendors database.
Conduct procurement activities based on requests from Regional Leader, Tender Manager and Business Development Manager.
Launch RFI, RFP/RFQ, tenders and auctions, run Q&A sessions, evaluate bids in terms of price, quality and terms & conditions.
Draft, review and negotiate contracts with vendors, manage the process of contract signing, termination, expiration, extension and renewal.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidate with 3+ years of proven experience purchasing
Freight Forwarding / Logistics services.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Conceptual thinking, systematic approach and analytical skills.
Ability to gather and analyze complex data.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications especially MS Excel.
Excellent Business English (verbal and written), next to fluent German language
