The new contract takes immediate effect. Worldwide GSA group is a holding company, incorporated in Singapore in 1995 that specialises in providing GSA services to airlines in the Asia and Australia markets. Today, Worldwide GSA operates 13 offices in eight countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, China and New Zealand. In Taiwan, Worldwide GSA will represent ABC through its subsidiary, Orient Air GSA Co. Ltd. (Taiwan).

Appointing a GSA in Taiwan is part of ABC’s regional strategy to make Russia’s booming market accessible to exporters and freight forwarders across Asia Pacific. The airline expects to generate strong commercial business between Russia and Taiwan by promoting the shortest and most direct Boeing 747 freighter service via interline connections to Hong Kong that connect with AirBridgeCargo’s direct, non-stop scheduled services to Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport.  

Other key destinations in Russia, including the Moscow’s largest international airport, Domodedovo (DME), St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo International Airport (LED) and Krasnoyarsk Airport (KJA) in Siberia will be also made accessible to Taiwanese businesses through ABC’s on-line network.
